Douglas County is a county located in the U.S. state of Washington. It is part of the 'Wenatchee, Washington, Metropolitan Statistical Area'. Its population was 32,603 at the 2000 U.S. census. The county seat is at Waterville. Its largest city is East Wenatchee, although the unincorporated East Wenatchee Bench CDP is larger. It was named after American statesman Stephen A. Douglas.
